I have recently opened up a new site, with the sole purpose of selling photos online. However it will be different from the majority of online Stock Photography sites as it will give the clients the option to customise their own photo. they can ask for a specific photo to be taken for them, and have any composition that they wish. The harder that the photo will be to take the more the price will be. Once I have a big enough market I plan on hiring photographers to help take the photos. there will be a few photos already on the website just incase the one that you want is already there, but the main feature will be the custom photography. Hi, best of luck with this venture, it sounds like an interesting concept. I'd imagine your challenge will be in successfully profiling customers and then getting them to your site as the adage 'build it and they will come' doesn't really apply to the internet unfortunately.
I would also suggest you are very careful about what you photograph re: copyright; I note that you are selling an image of a Wilson tennis racket on your website, this would be in direct breach of their copyright of their logo, design etc. I've not looked at the architectural photographs on your site, however I do know that, strange as it may seem, many buildings and in particular modern buildings are also protected from copyright and you can't see the image without consent.
