Please keep in mind these pictures were takin with just a basic Canon digital camera, so they are not as good as they could be. Thanks!

The pictures are very original and look great but its lacking the quality of an SLR. But good work i look forward to posting some of myown photos and seeing more of yours.

You have a couple of good shots there in amongst some you should really have deleted, I think the ladybug pic is one of those - it is too small and very out of focus. Dont blame your camera - the Canon you have is actually very good. For bugs try getting in even closer but on a tripod - not hand held. Best of the bunch is your cacti which I ran thru PS and put a bit more color and sharpness in - some nice green tones there!
Composition and lighting are much more important than your choice of camera.

this is a great macro shot. Background is out of focus and and the bug is the most important part. Perfect

Nice shots but the quality of the pictures aren't good enough.

i think you have good and bad shot no great blow me away shots but keep practicing and when you are looking at you photos look at them and say i dont like that that and that and next time your taking a photo remember what you didnt like in your other photo change those but for a begginer your making a good start

exampl in the sunset picture

i would have tryed to get an angle to were you couldnt see the power lines as much

in the ladybug photo closer and maybe also try a different angle

They are good photos i think, originality is a good key that i think you captured. SLR would make a bit of a difference, but good job =)!
