That's a fairly broad request, there are a lot of basics in photography e.g. speed (ISO and shutter), aperture, composition, metering, temperature (for digital) etc. Is there some aspect of photography in particular you are looking at currently?

If it's a general guide you are after, it's probably better to ask a specific query on one area (e.g. how do you decide between aperture and shutter speed) after you've done a bit of research on the area you are querying. This way we can try to guide you a little and you won't get lost in terminology as you'd have a basic understanding before you ask the question.

I realise this in itself won't help you much; hopefully it'll guide you to asking the right questions for your next query.
