I am sure this a gud camera. Its main feature is tat it has got a manual zoom. But this cam is a bit expensive for its range.But its Performance is great. .

Nikon D3100 is not a professional DSLR camera.Its an amateur DSLR camera and it can take good photos but can't give a professional touch.Go and pick Canon 7D or Nikon D3x.They are the top camera offerings and it would also require good lens. If you want a professional DSLR at the rate of Nikon D3100, Go pick Canon 1000D,but it won't take videos.
