What resolution is recommended for uploading images?

plus minus

We generally advise opting for higher resolutions. Most current digital cameras provide suitable resolution for our products. Unsure about your image's resolution? You can always proceed with uploading your photos; our trained staff we'll let you know if you need a higher quality image. One thing to be aware of; a screenshot of a social photo is not high enough quality.

Please note: We highly recommend using images with a resolution of 300 DPI for printing. Images obtained from online sources or screenshots are typically low resolution, which will likely result in suboptimal print clarity.

What file formats do you accept?

plus minus

We currently accept JPEG, PNG, HEIC files.

How do I upload my traditional flat prints?

plus minus

You have two options that we would reocmmend:

Scan: Utilize a flatbed scanner with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi. Save your scans in RGB JPEG mode with a high-quality, low-compression setting. Refer to the suggested resolutions above for optimal results. Once you have your final acceptable image, you can upload it to our site.

Retail: There are many retail stores that will scan your photo for you and copy to a CD or DVD. Just be sure and share with them the scanning requirements above.

We recommend having a high quality image digitally to complete your orders.

How do I edit my photos?

plus minus

Simply upload your photos into the designer. You will have limited abilities to crop to the image you want or align into the pre-cropped design area. If you are concerned with how your photo will be edited; you'll be able to add comments to the edit or reach out to our support team.

Once you submit your artwork or photo online, our staff will adjust to the print surface and then send you an online proof to review. Should you require a physical proof; there will be a fee for that based on the size and material.

What type of color management do you offer?

plus minus

We print utilizing the best-of-breed printers, materials, inks and coatings. All of this must be calibrated together. We use several devices from X-Rite Corporation to keep your print calibrated to manufacturer and specifications.

What if my photos have a copyright on them?

We are unable to reproduce copyrighted material. As you are responsible for uploading and
creating your own product, it's essential to ensure compliance with copyright laws. Feel free to email a
Copyright Release Form to our Customer Service Department, accessible on the Contact Info page.

If you have ordered a black and white or sepia toned print from us in the past and would like us to color match it, please reference the previous order number in the notes section. We will try our best to match your previous order history.

Can I print photos from social media?

plus minus

The resolution of social media images can vary depending on the original quality of the photo uploaded. While many images on online may have sufficient resolution for small prints or digital sharing, they may not always be high enough resolution for larger prints. It's recommended to use high-resolution images for printing to ensure the best quality results. If you're unsure about the resolution of your Instagram photos, you can check the image details or consider reaching out to our customer service team for guidance on print suitability.

Wall Art Questions

What is a wrapped canvas?

plus minus

A wrapped canvas is intended to be hung unframed. Canvas is stretched and mounted on 3/4” wooden stretcher/strainer bars. The sides and corners are wrapped. No staples are visible on the front. It's ready to hang on your wall!

How do I clean a canvas?

plus minus

Dusting: Gently dust the surface of the canvas with a soft, dry cloth or a feather duster to remove any loose dirt or debris.

Spot Cleaning: For small stains or marks, lightly dampen a clean cloth with water and gently blot the affected area. Avoid using any harsh cleaning agents or chemicals, as they may damage the canvas.

Mild Soap Solution: If the stain persists, you can try using a mild soap solution. Mix a small amount of mild liquid soap with water and dampen a clean cloth with the solution. Gently blot the stained area, then rinse with a clean, damp cloth to remove any soap residue.

Air Dry: Allow the canvas to air dry completely before hanging it back on the wall. Avoid using a hairdryer or heat source to speed up the drying process, as this may cause damage to the print.

Avoid Direct Sunlight and Moisture: To prevent damage, avoid hanging your canvas print in direct sunlight or high humidity areas. Store it in a cool, dry place when not in use.

How long will canvas prints last?

plus minus

With proper care, test results have shown premium archival inks enable our canvas prints to last for decades, if not a lifetime.

Can I hang my metal print outside?

plus minus

Our metal prints are made from .045” aluminum and designed to last a lifetime. They will not rust or tarnish. They have a wood or composite backing with a hanging groove or loop. The images are printed and UV cured to the front however not designed to be in direct sunlight. You may hang them outside, but we cannot guarantee that the prints will not eventually fade. You do not want to get them wet or hang them where weather could cause damage.

What are heat fused products?

plus minus

Heat fused products are created by printing on aluminum or other materials that undergo a process involving state-of-the-art coating machines. Occasionally, the coating may exhibit minor imperfections like divots or bumps. Each sheet is meticulously inspected, and if any imperfections are detected, they are positioned in the least noticeable areas of the image. Please note that slight variations in color and contrast, up to 10%, may occur compared to the original. Regrettably, we are unable to remake prints solely due to these imperfections.

How do I clean glass wall prints?

plus minus

To clean your glass photo prints, start by gently wiping the surface with a soft, lint-free cloth or microfiber towel to remove any dust or dirt particles. If there are stubborn stains or smudges, dampen the cloth with a mixture of mild soap and water, then gently wipe the affected areas. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as they can damage the print. Once cleaned, use a dry cloth to wipe away any excess moisture and let the print air dry completely before hanging or storing it.

Are glass wall prints breakable?

plus minus

Unfortunately, yes. We utilize premium polished glass specifically crafted for photo and picture frames, ensuring exceptional clarity and durability. While our glass is resilient, it's important to handle it with care during hanging, mounting, and display. In the event of breakage, exercise caution and thoroughly clean the affected area. Please note that we cannot assume responsibility for any damages to your product or surrounding areas caused by mishandling or accidents.
